The new 2011 BSL album has arrived. Early \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n Black Swan Lane is happy and proud to announce the August 2011\u00a0release, Staring Down The Path Of Sound<\/em><\/strong>. One of the most noticeable\u00a0differences is the presence of former Interscope recording artist (and ex-Messenger alum) Lauren Faye.\u00a0 Her voice lends an ethereal quality that cannot be described – it simply must be heard.<\/p>\n Once again, we sought out the best people to assist us and we believe\u00a0that you will appreciate the results. We were fortunate to be able to\u00a0work again with famed engineer Jeff Tomei who has engineered, mixed\u00a0and produced some of the world’s best acts (including the Smashing\u00a0Pumpkins, Matchbox 20, Soul Asylum, Jerry Cantrell, Operator…).<\/p>\n We also put more effort into the selection of our cover for this release. We feel privileged to be able to share with you two beautiful\u00a0images from a very talented, young artist in\u00a0France\u00a0named, Julie de\u00a0Waroquier. Her photography immediately grabbed our attention and\u00a0invoked feelings that made us think her pictures were perfect for the Please visit\u00a0www.blackswanlane.com<\/a> to listen to tracks from the new\u00a0release. \nWe’ve been working on this album for more than a year and we are truly\u00a0excited about the results. Our returning friends will notice that this\u00a0release sounds a little different from our previous albums. We believe\u00a0that this is the natural evolution of the BSL sound and we’re proud of\u00a0where this process has taken us.<\/p>\n
